Due to
increased demand for new educational choices, we have
expanded our curriculum to be inclusive of all natural
medicine. We have added new professional courses that
offer more professional as well as self-growth choices.
Academy of Complimentary Medicine (AOCM)
remains the leader in Complimentary Medicine in the
middle-east and operates under an "approval to operate"
and "authorization to offer registered and continuing
education courses" by the Knowledge Village, Dubai. AOCM
also has its center in Kuwait which is registered and
approved by the Ministry of education, Kuwait.
AOCM offers entry
level and advanced trainings both on-line and residential
to advance and evolve healing the body, mind and spirit.
Online training is offered using the state-of-the-art
Learning Management System (LMS).
Our mission is to offer advanced diploma/
certificate and continuing education trainings and to
evolve the field of complimentary medicine including
naturopathy, bio-feed back, nutrition, herbology and
various forms of energy medicine including homeopathy.
AOCM is a continuing education provider for Chiropractors,
Acupuncturists, Herbalists,
Physiotherapists, Pharmacists, Midwives,
Registered Nurses and any one interested in self-growth
and helping others in the middle-east.

Registration Information
You must pre-qualify by speaking with the
school administrators. Fill out the registration form,
email, and fax or mail it with the enrolment agreement.
Job Assistance Program
The Academy of Complimentary Medicine (AOCM)
does not promise students employment in this field.
However, the institution does intend to promote the
services offered by all graduates by offering referrals to
inquiries.
Student Conduct
A student who does not behave in a
professional manner in class will be suspended. If the
student does not correct the situation, he or she will be
dismissed.

Transportation, Room & Board
Not included in our trainings. We will
provide shuttle and hotel information upon request.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Residential Classes (40% to 60% varies with
courses)
Attendance
is mandatory in every residential class in order to
graduate. If the student is absent for part of a
session, they will be given an incomplete and will be able
to take the class again when it is offered or purchase the
audio of the missed class and take the test for that
class. Then they may go on to the next class, in
sequence.
Online Classes (40% to 60% varies with
courses)
Upon acceptance into the training, you will
be issued a password and student identification number by
email so you may access the class. There will be no
refunds on any session after a password is issued for any
online class.
In order to reach objectives, dedicated
attendance is required for online classes as well just as
if a student were participating in the class in real-time.
Graduation
Graduation
will take place at the end of the course whereby each
student that has satisfied the requirements, and received
a passing grade of 70%, will be presented with a
Diploma/Certificate of Completion. Tests and students will
receive a pass or fail grade.
Progress and Performance Policies
Written as well as oral testing after each
training or class will assess student progress. If a
student fails a class, they must take the class over.
Grading Policy
Student's performance will be evaluated on
the following criteria:

Proficiency in the procedures and
exercises.

The student's confidence in his or her
ability to follow procedures or exercises.

Students' ability to achieve reproducible
results in testing methods.

The demonstrated ability to assess a
client accurately using methods taught.

Student will receive a pass/fail grade. A
passing grade is 70%.

criminal convictions regarding myself or regarding any
other AOCM certified practitioner of which I have
personal knowledge.

exceed my scope of practice, either in abilities or by

to be objective in the treatments of clients and
performance of duties, recognizing the rights of all
persons and my own limitations.

conduct myself in a professional manner with proper
respect for each client's dignity; I will not engage
in inappropriate relationships or behavior with
clients.

education on a continuing basis in order to improve my
knowledge and skills as a naturopath.

I will
provide clients with full disclosure regarding the
scope of my practice and my training and experience.

I will keep
all information about my clients in strictest
confidence, and shall only divulge such information
when required by law or when authorized by the client.

I will not use misleading, deceptive, irresponsible or
fraudulent statements or advertising.
